Minecraft Festival is Coming to Orlando In September


Minecraft's annual event started out as an event, but it changed to streaming-only format in 2017 in a bid to maintain the tight-knit atmosphere for an increasingly large audience. The event is now returning to an in-person experience, however and now has more information to share. The new name for the event is Minecraft Festival will take place in Orlando's Orange County Convention Center from September 25th until September 27th. Tickets are available starting March 6th , at 12pm Eastern. Mojang and Microsoft promise plenty of activities as well as hearing the latest Minecraft news. Tickets are available beginning March 6th at 12PM Eastern.



Tickets start at $60 per day and $165 for three days. All attendees will receive an in-game Minecraft Festival cap, which is compatible with Java and Bedrock. Like many conventions, though there are incentives to spend more. A $225 Gold package grants you early access to panels, exhibits and the shop for those who purchase the $300 Diamond package also have access to a separate lounge, a personal bag and coat check, as along with a special pin and lanyard.



This is a good thing if you miss the time of getting to meet creators and fellow fans. However, Microsoft is taking a risk with the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.  Minecraft servers Although September is seven months away, it's unlikely that the outbreak will be under control by the time it's over. It's likely that Minecraft Festival will go ahead and you may be prudent about planning your life around the event.
